Fatalism Vs Activism

Our Indian cultural history has a great deal of discussions on "FATALISM" or destiny over many 1000s of years ... Whatever happens, good or bad events, people for many centuries believe that everything is written and acted upon time constraints. The situations rises up in times forces one to think about fate. We can play the game only when the whole lot is in our control. When things go beyond our reach, the game starts to play with us. This group will believe in presence of god.
To say it in other words, the future is fixed and predetermined no matter whatever you try. It is always a way to accept our defeat or stop trying and blame it on "universal law". Here uncertainty plays the key role which indirectly means there is no future.

The activism calls it as the reaction of the actions performed by people or any other activities through people. To put it simply, the outcome of good or bad events depends on our actions. Newton's third law of motion has its equal contribution in believers of both fatalism and activism. Here certainty is the key player.

Butterfly Effect

I m watchin lots of movies continously. Recently, it happened to watch one of the best movie, ever so far for me : SCHINDLER's LIST..
And few good ones are like butterfly effect I, II.. the theory of "butterfly effect" is used in the film Dasavadharam also...
The theory states that even a fluttering of a butterfly can create, end, deviate, or lessen a tornado/hurricane or could be cause of any disasters yet to come..
u can check out in wikipedia abt it.. its very interesting. This movie deals abt it in the baseline.
I am still engrossed by this idea of even a smallest of smallest power -infinite smallest action can do a great change in the world ???!!!!!.. So the word "karma" (added in oxford dictionary) said by our ancestors is right and so Newton in his 3rd law of motion.. !!

A glance at KOREAN movies

Recently, I came across many Korean movies, mostly romantic comedies. Some list of movies are:
Seducing Mr.Perfect,
My sassy girl,

100 days with Mr.Arrogant,
A Millionaire's first love,
Mr. cool guy/ He was cool

All these movies are great entertainers. I never laughed or cried so much in my life by watching movies. Among above, Millionaire's first love touched my heart to fullest. Although, this one has same story line as A Walk to Remember (bad guy's soft love and girl dies with disease), it beats all tragic romantics (should not be compare with life time movies like TITANIC) with performances and cinematography. Actors are very casual in their roles. Lead heroine (Choi Eun-hwan) has the disease called Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy which is a very serious cardiac problem and the patient usually lives a short life span with/without medical assistance. She should not too happy or too sad as the heart is so fluctuating. So the deadlock (obviously) is hero can't reject/accept her love.
I cried at those scenes when he scolds her and runs away to a perfect natural scenary and cries aloud. Secondly, when she reads the dosage tablets presented by him on her bday. She wont wait and read all of them fearing that she would lose her life before it gets over. Finally the first day of snowfall arrives as we wait for the excellent climax. Believe me your heart will feel a small pain and will fall in love before the movie ends.

Not to mention, they have some similarities among them like ... the lead actors would meet each other for the first time accidently in the movies Seducing mr.perfect and 100 days with mr.arrogant. And always girls are after boys in all these films except My sassy girl. Girls get dumped easily by boys. He was cool is almost similar to A Walk to remember.
Bad guys falls in love and changes his image for their lovers. In the later, the girl would ask him to promise not to fall in love with him at first. And they were all same in both (millionaire's love).
Girls are cute and charming, which always reminds me cute kittens and 'meow' sound in my background... hahaha. So far, Guys are also good looking in all of them. May be there are no 'ajay devgan or vijay' type of filmy families who have bad features still surviving by there performances. They differ from India on this.
Some scenes from My sassy girl are seen 1000s of times in Indian cinemas. The scene where the boy will explain about the girl's action and counter reaction for every moments to her blind date, parents beating up grown children, to wait for 2-3 years to take a decision..etc.., all these appeared in many Indian movies before. I guess these were because of cultural similarities of all Asian countries esp. India and china which share nearly same cultures.

Define yourself: You know what you want:

It is very simple to know what we want. But it is difficult job to know what we actually wish for. Thorny things seem to be simple from the surface.

Recently I happened to watch Shrek the third. To convince the prince Arthur, Shrek states that we don’t have to behave or do things how people want to see us but we should follow our heart and do what we actually want to be. It is an absolute truth although said by animation characters.

We depend on other’s opinion to define ourselves. I am lucky in one sense, my parents allowed me to do what I felt to do. Sometimes I feel why am I doing this?.. just to satisfy/impress others ?.!!. Its natural human psychology..

wil continue later...

007 magic

Year 2007 was one of the finest years in my life. I had many coincidences with the number: 007. My university registration number ends with 007 and my mobile number ends with 007 so was the year 2007

Many “First time” things happened throughout the year. Toured GOA, HYD first time, tasted alcohol, got a job, moved to new house, started playing shuttle, invested in mutual funds, share market and some of first times stuffs that I can’t mention here.

Even did simple things like mounted a kick bag at my room fulfilling my nostalgia. Fixed mini library kind of custom made selves. Tried learning swimming but couldn’t complete it. Not following the instructions, I gulped down lot of water in. to hold breathing for very long is hard task for me. I should have learnt it in my childhood. Hope I will learn it in future.
