Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010)

A Review:

First of all, after watching the making & trailers, somehow perceived the story line,.. :P I promised myself never to watch this movie. I am fond of Greek Mythology, even own Iliad & Odyssey, the Great Greek epics. I dont wanna witness these film makers messing it up with their dumb witted ideas. But I was dragged into watching it. It was the only movie which was available on last week. In fact I initiated this movie idea and found myself in the net ;), cant help it.

The initial part of the movie was okay okay type with the next generation of Demi-Gods having common parent-child problems among them. Then comes the Americanization of the Greek myth. I was really frustrated when they showed the Hell’s portal beside Holly Wood and the most dim-witted funny part was depicting Empire state Building as entrance to Mt.Olympus ( I would have sued this film makers if I was a Greek Born). Next was the lamb guy, the protector, dancing in a Las Vegas Casino with goat legs, Don’t know how they can think about this kind of disgusting & totally idiotic thoughts.

At Max, 10 minutes was really entertaining when they relate themselves with older generations, while using Medusa’s Head against Hydra (really kool part) and the CG was nice while using water as weapon.

It is definitely no where near to Harry potter series or Narnia or any related fantasy-myth stories. Totally, a no-Brain movie, no fun movie which won’t even entertain a 5 year old kid (may be only Americans can relate it)

Train Friends - A journey of life

Romeo happen to find great variety of friends while traveling in train. It goes as a part of analyzing or just chit-chatting with people. Of them, few continue to remain good friends. The bottom line could be that he learns something new during each trip.

This time it happened to be a tough task, he tried consoling a 1.5 year old crying baby... Trust me its the toughest task than satisfying my managers...hehe

Became "mama" to 4 children(awaiting 5th) officially.. ;)... With hand full of experience in that area, he cudn't pacify her so easily. Even though he possess such a huge personality, I have no idea why kids aren't scared of him. I guess may be he has a funny face...like Mr.Bean.. hehe ;)..

Anyway he managed to play Hi5 with her atlast, using the technique called talking to baby through mirror reflection. She was happy, I too was. But the worst part is when they depart and say bye-bye to him. Ofcourse, he understands that he has to deal with this kind of short journeys of life.
Each journey adds him memories of people he meets, situations, locations, natural views along side the tracks, smell(cant say its aroma) of bad railway coffee(hot water), different cultured people from different religions, different parts of the country/world. His brain retains the experience he gains from each trip.

Human life consists of so many short train journeys. Some catch the right train, some miss it, some find alternative, some are delayed,.. etc., now dont ask me abt the ones who cancel their tickets(that too cleverly before chart preparation). Time may defer their successes but never fails to give a chance.
We always cant have choice at our lives. People let go of their great chances of opportunity both in professional and personal relationships for the benefit of others. Follow life as it comes, like a river don't interrupt it otherwise you will miss some beautiful random experiences from nature goddess.

Curse of Love

---------- Clueless Romeo ------------------

You are my curse..
you are my happiness..
you are part of me..

The more i try to hurt you
the more i feel the pain..

the more i try to forget you
the more i remember you

the more i wanna go away from you
the more I wanna get near u,

is this the curse of love or being loved...
is this curse prevailing for all these centuries..

O' Love, You hurted even the mighty kings n queens
taking pleasure, killing each n everyday

please spare me, an ordinary human
banish the anathema spelled on us
before it engulfs completely everything...

Giving up the pain

You cant give up in a battle field... there are only 2 choices.. either you win or die there.. sustain the pain. Pain is an effective potion for a successful future. It is a teacher, mentor, guru etc., by itself. Few perish as they cudnt withstand the pain, few over come the pain, few live with the pain. The dangerous part is those who live with it. It perishes not only them but people surrounding them.

Everyone faces the battle field in their own perspective. The perspective of life changes when people change... when they look from different angle. Life changes and Relieves the pain. Smallest of the pain is necessary to see the brighter side. To identify the opposite, the happiness.
