Love I

Romantic novels, movies, short stories,.. all of them tell about a person in love with someone or both sex groups involved. One sided or successful ones. What about others. ? I mean do every human fall in love ?. if u say "NO" that will be the biggest lie of the century. Why because, its all nature. Humans are formed of set of chemicals (to say it abstractly). Scientists & researchers say that we are formed of appx. 6 billion genomes (DNAs). A rat(rodentia ratus), a vertebrate which is nearly equal in level in the animal kingdom hierarchy -with humans has 4 billion genomes. Even a chicken has 2 billion genomes.?!!! (only to be fried !!).

Researchers say, this romantic feelings are outcome of certain hormonal secretions. ahh.. i forgot monkey, our great (power) great ancestor. Chimpanzees are mostly similar to humans in this area.
But there is a basic difference. Humans give birth to incomplete foetus rather fully grown like other mammals.
The brain size is small for other mammals so that it can grow fully and come out easily. but human brain is larger than them. hence they can have larger gap between hind limbs for which humans only have 11cm (appx.). so human baby is born with incomplete growth and then later grows.

And mostly, the thinking process of Human- male brain is stopped by females later ... hahahahaaaaaaaaaa.
Now, u can ask Romeo : what about female-brain
ans: they never started thinking.. hahahahaaaaaaa.. no, no he was just kidding. don't take him seriously.

Romeo will continue this in new posts later..

How serious, Seriousness is?

Until under graduation, Romeo was very cool, jovial and easy going guy. Or otherwise call him a 'kool' guy. He always tried to make the ambience cool with his humor sense, making everything casual, even exams. But for the surprise of the so- called SERIOUS people who never thought a non-serious guy can hit exams and other stuffs (extra curriculums) better than them.

Few serious people started to think of following this unconventional way which Romeo used in almost every possibilities. Then comes the question.. Should we always be cool, never need to be serious in life ???. The answer is a big “NO”.

Of course, we need to be serious in our careers.

It’s never a fact that some are serious by birth. Believe me; none are born as reserved-types. Set of principles followed by the society like: should not laugh louder, don’t laugh before elders, and never smile in class room. It eventually starts like this and gradually kills humor senses within ourselves.

The society is so serious and respects or accepts the ideas / inventions of only SEROIUS people’s. Why can’t they believe a laughing man?. Can’t he be trusted because he is always smiling and has good humor? Is being cheerful a crime? What if he failed in exams.. everyone will be ready to blame on his casualness as the reason. The fear that we will be soul owner of failures, creates more pressure and pushes people to act as serious-GUYs who they are really not.

How can we enjoy the life without laughter? But

Society needs only serious people in higher positions.

In the beginning of this article romeo mentioned as “Until his UG”. Yes, now He is changed and the reason is: society. He is hiding his humor and acting as a serious man now. He don’t know how long can he act like that.? Within this short time of experiment, his Pressure has increased and he can see a hell lot of changes in his body (was healthy then). He can’t think in a unconventional way which once was his trade mark suite. Don't come to conclusion that Romeo is 'angry young man' type of youth who blames society for his weaknesses.

Why Romeo hates CRICKET

"Why Romeo hates Cricket"

( From the title, you can easily guess the conclusion. But read till the end for the justification on it.)

In India, CRICKET is not a sport, it’s a religion. You could have heard this sentence many zillion times. When Romeo was a kid heused to be a crazy cricket fan like millions, sorry make it billions. He used to memorize all team players; their specialties and individual records.

At the end of last century, He came to know about the match fixings. No, this is not the only reason for his hatred against cricket. Every sport existing in this world has seen fixings. This moment actually made him realize that he didn’t select cricket as his favorite; instead cricket selected him. That means media and people around him illusion-ed it as his favorite.

*Think about this: how many options you had when you picked up cricket as your all time game?* Had interests in any other game ?.* Do you ever know any other game as deeply as this one? 90% of answer would be "NO".

1. You would, because the media never gave us a chance to get natural interest towards any other sports like this.

2. All age group people talk about cricket, cricket, and cricket all the time. If anyone in the discussion doesn’t know what a “silly point” is he is considered as silly. Or you will be alienated from the crowd. These fears push us to know in and out of all the matches taking place.

Result: Spending (wasting) whole day on behalf of this.

First of all it’s not a sport anymore; it’s a money game now. For every ball, TV channels bag crores of money; at end of every over, in between replacement of a player, breaks etc., I am not talking about individual player’s income from ads. This is about media which gains lot and time we waste on it.

This game has been perfectly designed for earning hell lot of money. Deep in my heart, Romeo don’t really like this game too much. He likes athletics than others.

Let’s watch tennis, football, basket ball, soccer, etc., all these sports holds your breath and keep you at the edge of the seat, grasping attention until the match is over. After reading this, just think once about all the questions romeo had thrown from his mind. Find yourself the answers then make the decision whether you have to follow just because many are following it or you have natural interest.

Romeo's point is not to tell anyone to hate cricket-game or cricket players. Just be a selector yourself just as you have selected your toys, cars, houses, life-partner, etc., Don’t simply follow the crowd.

Corruptions everywhere, also I am

```````````World is full of corruptions. Of course I am also a part of it now.``````````````
In India, if you had visited public offices like Registrar office, Taluk office, collector office, etc., you already know what this article is about.
If you calculate the income of a sub-registrar, you will resign your software jobs (if u r). For even a small bill movements he is bribed some 100 rupees/ per paper(depending on the weightage of the job & designation of officer's). Daily hundreds visit the office.(its for average Towns.For cities multiply this with 5 to 10). My exp: got no-due(locally called as :" villangam pathiram") for our property
Let us take a minimum amount Rs.100 per person with an average of 100 citizens= Rs.10,000 per day.
For a month= 3 Lakhs.
For a year = 36 lakhs. average would be 50- 60 Lakhs. (Do u still want to work in software companies?)
Remember, this is only a minimum amount we have taken for our assumption. If its Rs.500 - Rs.1000 and take max 200 people
per day.. Calculate yourself in a scientific calculator !!!! (it results in exponential values).
This case is similar in Taluk office also.(exp: got my OBC certificate in 10 full -days waiting and bribed a Rs.1000 on whole depending of the hierarchy of employees)
Go to electricity board or Telephone department or any public office, you cant move a single piece out from them without bribing.
Apply this same calculation for every public (GOVT.) offices !!!.
This case doesn't spare even AMERICAN CONSULATE also. Securities outside office ask money to the people standing in queue to replace them early in lines. And for keeping their belongings for RS.100 per bag, Rs.50 per mobile etc.,all in agreement with near-by tea shop.Now, the TEA shop had grown to a new level. He built a small locker shelve inside shop. you can visit chennai consulate and check the tea shop near by"Gemini Fly-Over". Its everyday habit for them. Because people come to consulate from different places for VISA interview every minute.
Wait, It doesnt stop there. If you go inside and produce your DD for interview only to see that currency value has increased on that day (USD dollars Vs IND Rupees). They wont accept the DD taken earlier. Those who who return with rejected DDs are welcomed by group of auto drivers near OUT Gate ready to take you to near-by bank to take new DDs. !!(clue: check first bank in cathedral road after anna flyover)
Even in early mornings like 7:30 am u can get DDs from banks. Auto drivers will lead u towards backdoors of bank. You can see some employees work extra -time there !!!!!.. your work will be done and will be taken back to VISA consulate with some payments to drivers...
If you dont get visa clearance even after so many twists you are one of the unfortunates like me.
Atheism Vs Theism
I am not falling in either of these above said categories (or at Max we can divide them into 4 possible categories). This is how I picture myself :
When in a temple or any such holy places I turn into a religious follower. But when out of it, I become atheist who follow rules of science and facts. Our fore-fathers named “GOD- The universal force” for all mysterious things which they never had the answers. Science has answered many unknowns and still innumerable unknowns exist which will be answered in future.
I have grown in a place or culture where the fear for god moves people to lead a righteous life.Here people believe for centuries that worshiping almighty brings them fortune. It is where my theist heart lives. This kind of devotion is clearly an act of fear for failures by normal Humans. If the Creator or Ruler of the worlds (GOD) really exists as though depicted in almost all religions, he would find it immature to bless them.
It’s not the vacillation I am facing, like an Amoeba that takes any shape or a virus which becomes alive when in host's body and dead when out of it.
To create discipline or order could have been the basic priciple of our ancestors behind this 'creation of GOD'. That’s what every epic ,The Ramayana, The Mahabharata, The Iliad and The Odyssey - speaks of.
The question "whether god created us or we created god"- is still unanswered like
all universal theories put forward. Humans might think as though we know orgin of all the things around us. Even we are totally uncertain about the query whether universe is expanding or shrinking even after countless technological inventions.
........content will grow later...
On Secret Sorrow of Bill Gates
“I wish I wasn’t the world’s richest man. There is nothing good that comes out of that” told to the CNBC reporter, Donny Deutsch by none other than world’s richest man, Microsoft’s Chairman Bill Gates.
Even the world’s richest man has simple wishes like ordinary man. His desires are just to have meal at McDonald’s (no chance), shake a leg at the local disco (not if he want to be mobbed), hang around in malls (without a autograph seeking hordes) , mingle with crowd and share a joke & wants to roar his guts out rooting for his team at a football game.
Gates is not enjoying his publicity, actually. With great wealth he has great responsibilities and has to act as Santa Claus. He spent many sleepless nights deciding which charity is worthier one and deserves his money. Apart from that he is sad about his reading habit (reading war and peace for ten years) and not knowing current trends in IT. He would be happier writing the code for the next generation of video games. He misses his first love, technology.
[Top row: Steve Wood (left), Bob Wallace, Jim Lane. Middle row: Bob O'Rear, Bob Greenberg, Marc McDonald, Gordon Letwin. Bottom row: Bill Gates, Andrea Lewis, Marla Wood, Paul Allen. December 7, 1978.]
What to conquer? When Gates was climbing up the ladder, he always wanted to achieve that little bit extra, run that extra mile, go a little further. Now that he is in top, where are the worlds to conquer?. Practically he is aimless. He rubs shoulders with princes and presidents are all these money really worth of it. He is facing a nothingness; how different is he from nothingness ?. What is he standing out from ? , nothingness. He is blaming himself for not having time to discover himself.
For all the reasons above Gates doesn’t want to be richest man on earth but second or third will de , after all money doesn’t matter to him anymore.
These are the sorrows exhibited by the most affluent man on the planet. Everybody, everything falls into the philosophy at the end. Whatever the man he is, work he do, when everything is achieved he would be falling into this nothingness. Even Alexander the Great had the same feeling when he conquered the entire world; should have felt the nothingness. Nothing to achieve, nothing to prove ,….
Even knowing this truth why should we try to achieve some thing in life ???.. If there is no meaning in achieving anything why try for that.. If nothingness is beyond everything what everyone doing is trying to reach nothingness.
Only few achieve this acme in there life time...
Where is Democracy in India !
Even the president of the most self-prided country, The America, admitted that India is following a better Democracy than them. I am afraid it’s been tarnished now and then.
1* Look at the recent incidents of Anti-Reservation Acts; water, tear-gases and lathi charges were brought into play against guiltless Students. They were protesting non-violently, showing their basic rights, the dissatisfaction against community specific reservation quotas. Students followed the path of the greats like Mahatma Gandhi who used powerful weapon called “non-violence” which resulted independent nation from the dominant British rulers.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t change the minds of self-profited politicians. I don’t have any personal views on the reservation issue itself, but a peaceful demonstration never had to be responded like this.
2* Another incident took place in TamilNadu when Actress Kushboo conferred a statement about pre-marital safe sex. Publicity yearning politicians blown the issue to such an extent that even well established are afraid to speak for a good cause. These moral policing stunts are done just for mere self conceit -ness and displayed a kind of dictatorship.
People should remember that Tamilians built a ‘Temple’ for the same actress around a decade ago. Where were these politicians then? Is it not a disgrace to the entire society of Tamil speaking people?
Majority of the people in southern India think sex education is a crime. The fact is youngsters are aping western culture but without the proper knowledge. Only through media we can create awareness and prevent sexual transmitted diseases like AIDS. Politicians again prevented installing condom vending machines saying that 3000 year ancient society will not allow such an act. If we look into the facts TN is also one of the leading in number of HIV +ve patients. Although we can argue that STD cannot be transmitted through only one means, but it is the major reason of rapid spreading of this disease.
Yes, we are living in the unique, oldest culture existed ever but world is changing so are the people. We know “changes are the only permanent thing in this world”. If we are afraid to accept the change, we need to face the consequences.
3* Actor Amir Khan’s statement on NDA- Narmada Bachao Andolan was transformed into political issue.
If Amir Khan has insulted the people of Gujaratis; as BJP claims, people of Gujarat should avoid watching the movie “FANAA”-Amir starred. In a democratic country it is possible for the people to protest against any movie which disrespects their feelings. But an act of threaten to multiplexes & cinema halls is not the exact way to achieve it. Again I don’t have any personal idea about the statement he made.
Where is the right to speak? ; Governed by Indian constitutional law. Laws are in the hands of Political parties. Before 1947 we were ruled by Brits; after 1947, by a bunch of egoist leaders. Overpowering and violence never achieved anything in the History. People should be awake and let go the immoral political parties, who don’t have any respect of our constituency and should be exile from the government permanently. Wish there would a change in political thoughts of the people in the future. After 15 or 20 years people would have reached a great length of awareness and exposure so that they would be careful in choosing a party to rule.
Good Day
I spent time with my friends, Karthi and usha. We went to Garuda Mall and enjoyed the day. Karthi and I won one Thumps Up each by spot event took place in Garuda Mall. It was just to shout aloud the name of the Action movie from one among DUS, EK AJNABE and INSAN.
I told one of the guys who asked me fill the form(- with best AXN sequences among the movies given) that I haven't watched one of the movies
As i was discussing with him, the show host called karthi to the stage and asked him shout aloud any one of the AXN movies and punch the kick bag hanging over the stage. As i was watching him, the host called me out from the audience.
So, i went up and shouted "DUS" and punched the bag. Then he asked the audience standing around to vote one of us. But nobody dared to lift hands. They might have thought that rising hands is a public offence.
I asked the host to do it in reverse manner.
So, the host asked to lift hands who think the one has less power. Again nobody lifted hands, so i got the whole vote. When he again called for votes behalf of karthi, i lifted my hand. Thats how I won by 1 vote difference.
He gave us 2 Thumps Ups for participating.
Driving secrets in Chennai
For a long time Romeo thought Chennai is the worst polluted place to drive a vehicle. Now, he has changed his mind after living in Bangalore nearly a year. The result of lack of infrastructure in Bangalore redirected IT corridors to other rival cities like Chennai.
Coming back to driving lessons in Chennai; we need to know many things apart from actual normal driving. We need to understand the language of the drivers before stepping into a vehicle ride.
Let’s see one by one from Romeo's experience :
Auto rickshaw: - Let’s start with the real nightmare in Chennai roads. Residents of Chennai are widely aware how worst an Auto could be. When you are riding a bike behind an auto, then don’t look for indications in turnings. Because most of the vehicles wont be having any indicators at all. He would definitely hand signal you; but don’t worry you wont be able to see his hand actually. Only fingers (4) will be projected a little bit. If you have a good vision… you are lucky.
I forgot to tell you this; he in fact won’t show signal before 10 metres at turnings. The decision to turn left or right will be made by him only before 5 or 7 feets. Auto rickshaw, indifferent from other vehicles has outstanding turning capabilities. It can rotate to more than 90 degrees. Auto drivers use this extensively in good traffics. Two wheelers should be 1000% alert when going near an Auto.
Cyclists: They are fantastic riders who never obey rules; of course none is going to ask driving license to them !! The possibility of extensive rotation & brakes annoy riders behind them. They don’t care to go in corner of the roads rather would go in the lane for 2 wheelers. You can often witness a cycle clash with any vehicle on the road.
Pedestrians: Yes, believe me I was also a victim of a sudden turning pedestrian. There are no footpaths available sufficiently (other than main roads). Also majority of the streets are very narrow. People in Chennai always cross (some times even they run across) the roads at any place any time without even looking on either of the sides. Usually you can see people staring a name boards or thinking some where (like a scientist in the labs) in the middle of the roads. If you are smart and well trained in Chennai roads you can actually compute from their dressings, body language, eyes & foot directions where can they probably head next step.
Lorry: Lorries, the real breath takers can be found only in outer areas. If you are in national Highway you can always witness a lorry impacting with any vehicle. In Indian myth we can call a lorry driver as “Yama Dharma raja”, the one who is responsible for taking lives/souls to Hell/Heaven just like St.Peter in Christian belief.
Buses: Bus drivers are the most dexterous persons in the city. They know all kinds of vehicle drivers very well & their driving language. I always like watching them drive in front seats. Its amazing to see them driving only inches gap between any vehicles.
Two Wheelers: You need more learning here. Determining the age of the person, depends how speed they could go or turn. For all these you have a lot of time like some milli-seconds. They won’t care to change the lanes at any time without watching the rear mirror. Female drivers are considered the most dangerous riders; they can literally show us the “The Highway to Hell” song in realty.
What Prayers really do
I am not going to deal with religious philosophies behind prayers or even any of its preaching.
My article would be on ‘What prayer does’ instead ‘why do we need prayers’
Because we prayed, the problems are solved; we believe problems won't arise because we prayed. Prayer results in the belief that we can solve the problem; that's otherwise called confidence.
Confusing?.. continue reading to get cleared.
Swami Vivekananda, a great saint said – “We become what we think ”.That means the recursive thinking of something would become a part of our life in reality.
This quote had been one of the prime factors for many successful persons in life. They reached or obtained their life-goals by constantly involving in it. It’s like a meditation or devotion for all of them.
Normal human could read anything only word by word as a whole. Vivekananda had interesting reading habit. He would read the entire line in one instance, which means he can read line-by-line. This behavior would have been obtained by high concentration and devoted involvement and the belief that he can do it.
World number one Tennis player would think only about the services, aces and sets to take over, a Wrestler with leg movements, balances and punches, a Cricket player with direction of the ball, its speed and the stroke's direction, a F1 racer with command able turnings and pit-falls, a Painter with his brush strokes, background; foregrounds varied color intensities, a Business man with many factors likewise all number ones in their respective sports/businessess would constantly feel the absolute path towards their goal.
Similarly, basic part of prayer is faith. The faith you have within you and the belief to become what you think paves the way to the result of the prayer or the ultimate goal itself.
Mentally Bankrupt
Romeo's Diary - Dated : Dec 2005...
I am on a phase where only few felt or gone through. Thank god if
its only few.I am practically no man now as given by definitions of society.
I have no JOB, no money, no girl, etc.., (as u can fill it) practically i am bankrupt
What I ve is a peaceful mind and support from family & friends. I ve my past records to depend on.. I should say this ,.. my confidence level was very low when i failed 4 times in getting a F1-VISA to United States Of America.
You know i ve this feeling that i would certainly become someone other than I think what I am !!!. Think, foolish, am I?
Mom- The wonder woman
Unsurprisingly I enjoy a great deal of love from my mom than my siblings. I call her with many pet names like Cat, Ant, Teacher (really History teacher in my own school then) and Monkey when in angry.
I call her:
Cat Because: She is cute, pretty, and innocent. Like cats escapism (avoiding unnecessary encounters) is naturally present in her. Cat is very protective creature when it comes to its newly born kittens. Cats take too many liberties from their owners. All these characters are possessed by my mom.
Ant Because: She is very hard working. She would cook for all five of us (dad, herself, 2 sisters, and me) early morning and get us ready for the school. All these should be done quickly before 8 or 8:30 am. Sometimes my sister would help her in doing house chores. Dad would deal with all things outside jobs like typical Indian family head. My mom should also get ready for her teaching lessons. She would awake nearly at 4:30 or 5 am and sleep late at night.
Monkey, Whenever she scolds me or doesn’t listen to me. Only I have the access to call her like that in my entire family.
Teacher Because: She taught me innumerable things in all my life. Best one is making me member of district library at my 5th grade. It was just opposite to my school gates. I would spend most of the times in the library reading books.
At first I was interested in reading fairy tales, story books; comics (Tin Tin, Spiderman, superman, etc…) like all kids. Later I developed interests towards biographies of great men, encyclopedia, great novels that took me another level
She joined me to summer coaching classes and even GYM.
About love
"The pleasure of LOVE lasts but a moment,
the pain of love lasts a lifetime ...."
TAXI NO: 9211
Nice one... I liked Hindi version than English - Changing Lanes (2002)... With John Ab & nana, it was a good movie to watch.
Immature Act and Inspirational sisters:
Upto my early teenage I was very mischievous, immature, careless and pompous like most at that age. I remember once I slapped my elder sister (lav) in public place in front of all of her friends when were waiting for a showoutside a theatre.
I don’t remember why I hit her then. But it’s my luck that my sisters are far mature, understandable and lovable. They would forgive me for everything roguishly done by me.
My eldest sister, Yogi was my mentor and guide all the time. She inspired me in many ways. She is hard working, steadfast, intelligent and understandable. She got state marks in her SSLC an HSC, task nobody achieved in our family.
Yogi always supported me whenever my dad criticized me. After 12th grade she asked me to select IT stream in my engineering. It was one of the finest decisions that turned my life. After graduation, she suggested me to take GRE and apply for MS in USA. Since she did her Master’s in Southern Illinois university(US), her experience helped me in analyzing and selecting the best universities for me.
Avenger : The Mean Machine
Avenger has similar features to those of HARLEY's and HONDA's. My nostalgia to see a bike which resembles Harley's on the Indian roads nearly attained now, after the failures of Eliminators.
This new cruiser(Indianised meaning) is hitting well in the markets also.
Other stuffs for Bike lovers:
Its a 4 - stroke DTSI(Digital Twin Spark Ignition), 5 Speed, 180 - cc, 16.5 bhp, wheelbaseof 1475 mm makes it a big difference among others, thus supporting a highly stable turnings at even 40 kmph.
It is equipped with exhaust TEC (Torque Expansion Chamber),..
Now, I really dont know what TEC does for !! should ask my friend ragavendra, working in Lucas TVS who knows about auto mobile parts better than me.
Betrayal of a friend- a story
During college days Romeo's friends and acquaintances thought him as a cool, non-emotional, witty and a prankster kid. As he don’t believe in too much emotional bonds and basically never had good idea about “LOVE” on those days. May be he haven’t met the right one or he was afraid of the word “Breakup” or may be he was not interested in long term relationships. Later when he met the right person he realized he was wrong but that’s another story.
This cool boy image had its impact on him by the betrayal of his own friend. Yes, the right word is “betrayal”. His friend Mr.Y (don’t ask the name; he too may be reading it some time) loved someone who is also a friend to Romeo, (Ms.G2). Mr. Y was afraid to tell him about this affair. (Not long he came to know that she rejected him). As both spent a lot of time with each other every day, Mr.Y knows it very well that romeo thinks love is a hormonal game played at that age.
Mr.Y could have convinced romeo that his love is not just outcome of chemical reactions. He won’t be reacting hardly to him, rather would have understood his feeling for her. At least why are the friends for, if you think they can’t understand you? he can’t blame him alone; he too was very casual always.
Get to gether
Met all of five stars this week but 4 at a time not 5. Went on boating
in our Vellore Fort.
I wanted to watch NARNIA, but invain.
some exercises
done some weight liftings after a long time. My body still obeys exercise but not like old times. its ok for now.
