Even though I hate to watch cricket

Even though I hate to watch cricket, I (nobody) cannot deny this one great man’s achievement. We are lucky to witness the greatness in our life time. Time and time they proved that the champs have similar qualities. Roger Federer also disproved his critics after a comeback to claim his crown, the king of tennis.

I have already discussed in one of my old article that Cricket is religion in India and SACHIN the GOD (http://balajeestalkamania.blogspot.com/2006/09/why-i-hate-cricket.html). He proved it again that he is worth to worship as god of cricket.

All the champions have similar qualities as described by Paulo Coelho, they are like warriors of heaven and earth. Warriors never gave up, they rise again and again as Phoenix. Sachin was no different when his house was attacked @ mumbai few years back, like dhoni's and Ganguly's. Federer once cried "God,.... why is it happening to me ,...." when entire world was watching him lose twice in a row to Nadal, the nemesis. He turned into ash by critics and proclaimed his retirement time.

A Tale from Persia

When he was young, Cosroes (later on Cosroes I) had a master who managed to make him an outstanding in all subjects he learned. One day, for no apparent reason, the master punished him very severely.

Years after when Cosroes succeeded to the throne, the first measure he took was to send for his childhood master and demand an explanation for the injustice he had comitted.

" Why did you punish me without my having deserved it?" he asked.
" When I saw your intelligence, I realized right away that you would inherit your father's throne," answered the master. "And so I decided to show you how injustice is capable of marking a man for the rest of his life. I hope that you will never chastise anyone without reason"
