According to definition a hypocrite is a person who pretends to be what he is not. The positive way to say about a hypocrite is adding a little incognito lie to a fact and making it an enjoyable one. For example, The Sherlock Homes, by Sir Arthur Canon Doyle is actually derived from real case studies assisted by the author himself in real life. We can identify him as Dr.Watson from the fiction who assists the lead fictional character, Holmes. It is believed as loose biography of his own detective cases partially worked with most famous Scotland Yard police as a forensic doctor. The famous address #221B Baker Street, London, where Sherlock Holmes runs his private detective agency was visited by millions of people asking for fictional character, Sherlock Holmes, to solve their real world problems. What an influence!!! He was one of my favorite characters in my childhood. I will be reading Sherlock homes even without food for a day and finished almost all the volumes in short time. Our observation of people & things we see round will change dramatically from then. You can see even in-depth notions of eyes. It’s like reading human minds or events from the facts which will be developed many folds within us.
The other way of hypocrite could be deceiving people away from the facts for their personal advantage. For example, Nithyananda, one who called himself “God Man” !? People (engg, doctors, judges, phds, etc.,) believed him as reincarnation of god on earth. I should give him that. I always have the curiosity to know the teachings or principles of any kind. Ordinary humans always need guidance and help to run their lives. He taught the same principles, yoga, meditations, chakras etc., as available anywhere in India. I was wondering what made people trust him. Not sure about the scholars who were under his influence (including my friend’s family).
People lost trust in honesty. They are no more interested in honesty or integrity. Truth never catches the eye. One day I was telling my friend I am taking dentist appointment to remove my wisdom tooth she was partially listening without interest. Day before the appointment, by chance I reminded her that I won’t come for lunch with you tomorrow. I got a question mark face as an answer. Now I know she dint remember anything I discussed. To make it exciting I said I am going to meet a girl so took off. Her eyes were brighten suddenly, interested in my story asked me all the details about the girl. This is what happens in the bigger picture. Hey, hey… wait.. I am not saying that somebody doesn’t listen to my cavity problems and so there is no hope for truth. The point is truth is not as exciting as a flavored lie.
Sometimes truth has no value neither exciting as a pretty lie with added incognito flavors. I think it remains same for the love part also. When you convey it honestly, people tend to speculate how can that be possible... it all looks totally unreal!!! ... How can such a love exist in the real world? They lose hope making a bad influence to others too.
If we refer history, honest people always lived a simple life, like an open book. Not necessarily innocent. They keep things simple and smiling……..

hhmm.. kool
Hey hi
Nice topic 2 write and debate on .. and from ur side very well framed and presented.
Well abt the ur dentist appointment ..... we'll take it from there tomorrow .
I am confused reading the post. Are you playing for the hypocrites or against?
Hypocrite is a strong word which can't be compared with fiction - which has to do with creativity/imagination. Hypocrisy is to do with fraud/cheating people by pretending what they are not - like a parasite!
Well, good effort. When and where you are going for the dental issues? It's time for me to lose a part of my wisdom too and is waiting for a right moment :)
@Kriti: I agree wit u abt the negative meaning of the word 'hypocrite' generally.
@Kumar (Jija): Partially yes, for hypocrites. Its true tat the word 'hypocrite' cant be used for creativity. In one of the volumes, Sherlock says to Dr.Watson that he wud hav been a world's most dangerous criminal if not a detective. Its so easy to commit a crime and fade away. In a way, the darkness of his inner soul or thought is a kind of 'hypocrite' but not himself directly... Even in Dark Knight Joker says people become hypocrites when they are pushed to limits.. In a way, we all r hypocrites n stage actors according to Shakespeare... :)
